Alissa Anderson Campbell is an independent art appraiser and curator. She received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Santa Barbara and her Master of Arts in Modern Art, Connoisseurship, and the History of the Art Market from Christie’s Education, New York. She specializes in appraising American paintings, drawings, and sculpture for insurance purposes, fair market value, estate planning, taxes, and charitable donations.

Alissa recently served as curator of an exhibition entitled, Members Collect III at the Wildling Art Museum which included the work of Frank Kleinholz, Millard Sheets, Milford Zornes, James Swinnerton, Edgar Payne, Fernand Lungren, Channing Peake, among others.

Alissa authored the book, Nell Brooker Mayhew: Paintings on Paper as well as a number of exhibition catalogs, art reviews, and criticism in the field of American art. She recently wrote a monograph on the art of Francis De Erdely.

Alissa successfully completed a 15-hour course and examination on the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), the Congressionally-recognized set of appraisal standards promulgated by The Appraisal Foundation. Completed in 2009 effective through 2013.
